2024 SpeakIn Asia Dialogues | 19th March Mumbai, India

SpeakIn is Asia's largest platform for 1:1 coaching and group speaker sessions with top global thought leaders. With our flagship series - Asia Dialogues, SpeakIn has always been at the helm of honouring the best of experts from the region and discovering ways to strengthen the foundation for a better world on themes of impact.

At the next edition of Asia Dialogues is centered on Diversity and Inclusion. Certificate of Commendation - India's Top Companies Promoting Diversity and Inclusion will be presented as initiative to recognize people and institutions enabling a more inclusive ecosystem. With this Commendation, we would like to make a small effort to recognise top organisations in their contribution to embracing all and to have impactfully contributed to building a diverse team, organization and a nation. The following are the indicative criteria for the recognition:

  • Leadership Commitment: Organization's leadership commitment to diversity and inclusion. Including but not limited to statements and actions from executives that demonstrate a genuine commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion throughout the organization.
  • Policies and Practices: Assessment of the organization's policies and practices related to diversity and inclusion. Demonstrated evidence of inclusive hiring practices, promotion of diversity in leadership positions, accommodation for diverse needs, and efforts to create an inclusive workplace culture.
  • Employee Representation: Representation of diverse groups within the organization, including gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, disability status, and other characteristics. Consideration of whether the organization reflects the diversity of the communities it serves.
  • Training and Education: Evaluation of organization's efforts to educate employees about diversity and inclusion issues. Including diversity training programs, workshops, and resources designed to promote understanding and awareness of different perspectives.
  • Community Engagement: Organization's engagement with diverse communities both internally and externally. Including partnerships with diverse organizations, support for community initiatives, and outreach efforts to underrepresented groups
  • Measurable Impact: Evidence of the organization's impact in promoting diversity and inclusion. This could include internal monitoring (and/ or external reporting) of metrics related to diversity hiring, employee satisfaction and retention, representation in leadership roles, and other measures of progress.
  • Innovation and Best Practices: Demonstrated innovative approaches to promoting diversity and inclusion, as well as grooming employees that serve as role models for others in their industry or community.
  • Feedback and Continuous Improvement: Whether the organization solicits feedback from employees and stakeholders about their diversity and inclusion efforts, and whether they demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement in this area.
  • Transparency and Accountability: Assess the organization's transparency and accountability regarding diversity and inclusion goals and progress. Evidence of regular reporting on diversity metrics, accountability mechanisms for addressing diversity-related issues, and a commitment to transparency in decision-making processes.
